Who
we are

AquaFun is a youth-led non-profit organization that teaches youth essential swimming skills. Through engaging lessons and fun water activities, AquaFun encourages kids to stay active in a friendly environment. We are passionate about ensuring every child has access to swimming education. With its dedicated team of young volunteers, AquaFun is empowering the next generation to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle.

MISSION

According to the CDC, “Physical activity is good for children in many ways. Benefits include improved academic performance, brain health, muscular fitness, heart and lung health, cardiometabolic health, long-term health, bone strength, and measures of a healthy weight.”

At Aquafun, we hold swim and strength sessions. Our sessions create an environment where participants can learn, explore healthy habits, and make new friends! Our mission is to bring the benefits of exercise to the next generation for free.

EVENTS

Each week Aquafun hosts swim lessons at the Hulbert Aquatic Center! Swimmers at all levels of swimming are welcome from beginners to advanced. From getting comfortable in the water to starts and turns, there’s something for everyone to learn!

Our lessons are meant to be enjoyed. They are a place where you can have fun and make new friends, all while learning water skills! We also host activities in the weight room, where participants can develop healthy weight-room exercises that help strengthen their health!
